Dorothy may be known for her psychedelic rock years, but many Bay Area residents will remember her years as an educator, music director, and writer for children’s music.
Dorothy partnered with Elisa Ronstadt Elliott and Pamela Wong in developing the children’s summer arts program, the Lively Arts Workshop, giving hundreds of young performers a taste of the spotlight on stage. Dorothy developed original productions of children’s literature, including this gem about marshmallows:
